Textural with palette knife and impasto mixed media work incorporating turn of the century book spine. The title ripple refers to both the focused gaze of this hungry Kingfisher and the ripples in society.

'Lupin Days'
Acrylic, copper leaf and mixed media on canvas. 'Lupin Days' is part of my Whisper Series, however it is also the result of a collaboration between Poems in the waiting room and myself for their exhibition. Inspired by the poem 'second hand tent' by Sue Wootton. This piece is textural utilizing the pallet knife for wonderful splashes of colour and reflective sun through the use of copper leaf. With a nod to summer days camping among the fields.
