I have enjoyed a career in the commercial arts field of film, television and stage and went on to teach and develop curriculum for this field.

Throughout my career in the arts I have always been intrigued by the reactions of the viewer to the different art forms and the emotional impact of a piece, subtle or powerful.

This is an inspiration in my own art, that special suspended moment of viewer and viewed.
The subjects that appeals to me is both the natural world and our interaction with it.

My aim through my art is to try to catch that moment, the special relationship between what is there in nature and how we the viewer see and react to it.
