My Wildlife Work
My artworks seek to explore the rich worlds of wildlife and natural environments through contemporary impressionism.
Adopting both painterly and abstract impasto techniques, I then focus on the subjects with finer detail and a more realistic style.
I am inspired by the unique beauty and personalities of all creatures and hope to share this through my art.
Working in a wide range of mediums including acrylic, water colour, ink and graphite.
Incorporating layers in my work through mixed media and gold-leaf. I enjoy merging unusual surfaces and mediums.
The rich colours and metallic effects are symbolic of the importance I put on our natural world and our interactions with its inhabitants.
